Dana King

Born and raised in neighboring Columbus County, Dana is a true Carolina girl. A career in renewable energy took her across the southeast, but when she had a chance to move back "home" in 2009, she took the leap with her family and landed in Southport, NC. By 2014, an interest in real estate allowed her to become a Realtor, now with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, and by 2017 she purchased and retrofitted the beautiful Inspirations Dance Centre (IDC) facility where her three daughters now dance! Her efforts produced a Southport-Oak Island Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year for 2018 and the Coastal Entrepreneur of the Year Award in May of 2019 courtesy of the Wilmington Business Journal and UNCW. In October of 2019, she was named one of "Brunswick Magazine's Future 10 Professionals for 2019."
