Savana Craven

Savana Craven is a 22-year-old dancer, coach, and teacher, with technical training in ballet, jazz, and contemporary. Born and raised in Southport, North Carolina, she was a member of the South Brunswick High School Dance Team and from there went on to North Carolina State University where she was a captain of the North Carolina State University Dance Team. During her time there, the team was named Best College Dance Team in America by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and was invited to perform at halftime at the Cowboys versus Jets game alongside the professional team. The team performed at all home football and basketball games along with pep rallies and other school events. They also competed at NDA Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida where they placed second in the nation. Savana also had the opportunity to teach at the Academy of the Performing Arts in Apex, North Carolina, where she shared her training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. Since then she has come home to the Wilmington area where she is now the head coach of the South Brunswick High School Dance Team. Dance has been Savana’s passion ever since she was a little girl. She has spent her entire life developing her talents and cultivating the skills needed to transfer her appreciation and enthusiasm unto the next generation of dancers.
